To Remove an Attribute from the Global Attribute Set of a Job Default
The Remove Global Attribute command is used to remove an attribute from the set of global facilities attributes that make up a particular job default. This command is accessed from the Job Default menu of the Job Default Assistant.
When you remove an attribute from the global attribute set of a job default, the Workflow Manager removes the attribute and corresponding value from all feature definitions containing the attribute unless the feature attribute value is overriding the global attribute value-that is, unless the feature has been individually defined with a different value for that attribute.
- From the list of job defaults in the Job Defaults view, double-click the job default to open it in the Job Default Assistant.
- Or right-click the item and select Job Default Assistant from the shortcut menu.
- Click the Global tab and then double-click the folder of the commodity type that you want to edit.
- Select the global attribute that you want to remove and choose Remove Global Attribute from the Job Default menu or click the Remove Global Attribute button on the Standard toolbar.
- Or right-click the attribute and choose Remove Global Attribute from the shortcut menu.
- Click Yes to confirm the deletion. Note: You can also remove global attributes from the job default by selecting the Add Global Attribute command to open the Add/Remove Global Attribute dialog box and then clearing the check boxes of attributes that you want to remove.
